Overview Hawaiian vibes fill THE BEACH Waikīkī Boutique Hostel by IH, where you can rent bikes, surfboards and snorkelling equipment to make the most of this magical island. We also have a rooftop terrace for sunning yourself, our famous shuttle trips or tours, including to the lush North Shore and historic Pearl Harbor. Location We're in the middle of Waikīkī, a block and a half from Kūhiō Beach and walking distance from shops, parks and surf spots. We're also just a short drive from waterfalls and hiking trails. Airport drop-off and pick-up is available from $15 per person for a 20-minute journey, or you can ride the bus for about an hour. Take no. 19 or 20 from Daniel K Inouye International and get off in Waikīkī at the corner of Kūhiō and Paoakalani avenues. Turn towards the beach, walk two blocks to Cartwright Road and you'll see us. Rooms & Dorms We have air con throughout the place, including our private rooms. There are mixed and female-only dorms if you're on a budget – all with en-suites, so there's no wandering around looking for a hot shower. Linen's included and you'll get a locker for stashing your bags. We have studios with kitchenettes as well – ace if you're here for a while and looking to save cash. Extras and Activities We'll let you borrow boogie boards, mats, floats and chairs for the beach at absolutely no charge, and there are towels for hire at our 24-hour reception desk. We also have a communal kitchen with microwaves and fridges if you fancy whipping up some traditional Hawaiian poke. There's free Wi-Fi at the hostel too, so you can easily connect with your new travel buddies on social media.
